Welcome to mamaleh’s

kibitz corner!

The team behind Mamaleh’s opened Mamaleh’s Kibitz Corner as a first-of-its-kind event space and test kitchen, just steps away from the original Kendall Square location. From private rentals to ticketed events and rotating lunch pop-ups, we can’t wait for you to meet your new favorite corner for fun, food, and a casual kibitz.

Large Reservations

Want to host with us, but don’t need to rent out the whole space? We do large reservations with pre-fixe menus (that you help design!) for parties up to 25 people.

Think: A big brunch to follow your Saturday morning run club, a celebratory weekday lunch with your team, a happy hour with your favorite co-workers, or a Shabbat dinner with your family.

For these large reservations, we can feature menu items from all Mamaleh’s locations (beyond what’s popping up at the Kibitz Corner!)

If you’d rather have the space to yourself, please check out our Private Events section.

Private Events

Want the place to yourself? We’re down for that too. Let’s work together to celebrate a Bris or Baby Naming, 21st Birthday Brunch, Friday Night Dinner, Micro-Wedding, and more!

We can host up to 60 of your closest friends and family. Reach out to our Catering & Event Team to start brainstorming your event or learn more about the space.

POP-UP

In addition to our private and community events, we are testing out new recipes at Mamaleh’s Kibitz Corner, because even corned beef lovers kvell for a plant-based reuben. Come see what we’re about, open for breakfast and lunch Thursday-Sunday 8am-2pm.

Are events open to the public?

In addition to being a private rental venue, we are hosting our own events that are open to the public. Part of what we want to do at Kibitz Corner is bring people together through comedy nights, book readings, community Shabbat dinners, and more. All are welcome! We also welcome other groups to host events open to the public at Kibitz Corner.

Does the lunch counter deliver?

Yes! Ordering and delivery will be available from order.mamalehs.com.

Can I rent out the space for my own pop-up?

YES! We’d love to host other small food businesses in our space as a rotating pop-up. Get in touch with our team to discuss.

Is it the same menu as Mamaleh’s?

Our event menus can include options from Mamaleh’s, State Park, and more! The test kitchen, though, is where we will test new recipes and shake new cocktails. So, you can have the classics but expect something new, too.

Are you a Kosher kitchen?

We are not certified Kosher; however we are happy to provide “kosher style”, keeping dairy and meat separate, and we do not carry any pork or shellfish.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

We can offer gluten free and vegan options. Please let us know when placing your order if you have guests with sesame or nut allergies as there is the possibility of cross contamination for these allergens in our bakery.

How many people does the space fit?

Up to 60 people, that’s a really big simcha.

Can I host a Bat Mitzvah?

We’ve catered Bat Mitzvah brunches and Friday night dinners in the past, and with our new event space can host the actual party for up to 60 people, too.

Do you take last minute events?

YES, but they are subject to space, staff, and menu availability at that time.
